AI Delivery Harness

AI-Native Software Development, Proven Before It Ships.

Get software built at AI speed, with proof it does what you agreed. Our AI harness locks in what “done” means before work starts, checks every step, and a person signs it off.

The problem

AI made software faster.
It didn’t make it trustworthy.

AI can write a new feature in minutes. Under pressure to finish, it can also bend the checks so its work looks right. That’s the gap between vibe coding, where AI-written code is accepted because it looks fine, and software that aged care, healthcare, property, finance and logistics teams can stand behind. It shows up as:

  • Software nobody can explain six months later

  • Checks that confirm what was built, not what you asked for

  • An auditor’s question with no evidence behind the answer

Trusting the AI more doesn’t close that gap. Checking it properly does.

AI harness, explained

What is an AI harness?

An AI harness is everything wrapped around an AI model so it can do real work safely: the instructions it follows, the tools it’s allowed to use, the checks it must pass and the records it leaves behind. People who build them sum it up as “agent = model + harness”. The model does the thinking; the harness decides what it may do, and how you’ll know it worked.

Think of a building inspection: the plans are approved before work starts, an inspector signs off each stage, and the certificate stays on file. A good harness does the same for software.

It wraps the whole way software gets built, from what “done” means to the proof left behind, across our AI-native SDLC (software development life cycle).

See it in action

Can the AI cheat? Try it yourself.

01

Your team agreed a checklist

Before any work started, your team agreed three checks for a new online booking system. The big one: two customers can never book the same time slot.

02

The AI got one wrong

It built the booking system, but two customers can both book 9:00 am. One check fails.

03

Now try to cheat

The AI is behind schedule. Pick a shortcut and see if it gets past the harness.

The agreed checklist

Locked by your team

One customer per time slot, and bookings only during opening hours.Nobody, person or AI, can change this checklist without your team knowing.

  • Sam books 9:00 amBooking confirmedPass
  • Alex tries 9:00 am tooShould be told the slot is taken. The AI’s version books Alex as well.Fail
  • Someone tries 11:00 pmRefused: outside opening hoursPass

Pick a shortcut

Three of these are cheats. One is the honest way.

Your moveWhatever you pick, the harness compares it with the checklist your team agreed.

Why it matters: without a harness, nothing stops an AI under pressure from doing any of these, and your customers find the double booking before you do. With one, the only way through is to fix it.

Simplified example, not a client project.

How it works

How our harness works: agree first, then six checkpoints.

We flip the usual order: the checks are agreed with you first, and each becomes an automated test the software must pass. Then every feature moves through six checkpoints inside our AI-native SDLC. Engineers call this spec-driven development and test-driven development.

Every feature leaves a folder of evidence you keep: what was agreed, how it was tested, who reviewed it, and its security controls, mapped to the Essential Eight and ISO/IEC 27001:2022. No feature meets our definition of done without it.

“The tech lead assigned to our project was extremely capable, provided valuable input beyond the brief, and delivered courteously and professionally throughout.”

Six questions

Six questions to ask any
AI development company.

Use them on anyone who builds software with AI. Here are our answers.

The question

Our answer

1

Is “done” agreed with you before any code is written?

Yes. You sign off plain-English checks first.

2

Can the AI change the checks to make its work pass?

No. Checks are locked; any edit stops the build.

3

Is every “it works” backed by a test that actually ran?

Yes. Every check is matched to a test that passed (requirements traceability).

4

Does a person approve every change?

Yes. A human in the loop, a named person, approves each change.

5

What evidence do you keep, and who owns it?

An evidence folder per feature, and you own it.

6

How strong is each control, really?

We label each check as guidance, automatic or built in.

FAQ

Questions,
answered plainly

Not quite. AI guardrails stop an AI saying or doing certain things, and AI governance sets the rules for how a business uses AI. A delivery harness proves the software AI builds does what you agreed. Our Advisory team covers governance.

No. You agree what “done” means in plain English, and you see progress and evidence you can read without opening any code.

The harness is how we deliver, not an add-on. Builds are quoted per phase from a Scope of Work after discovery, and the Build Review costs you nothing.

Most builds go from discovery to working software in about six weeks, and you see the result at 30 days. The checks keep pace: one feature’s checks run in about 25 seconds.

No. Zero disruption is a design requirement: we fit the systems and approval chains you already run.

You own the software, its documentation and every evidence folder. Your data never trains another client’s model.

We write the agreed checks for one feature you’re planning, show how the harness would build and prove it, and tell you honestly whether you need us.
