About the client

humaniseAI’s Talent team was brought in by a FinTech client building an app to fairly distribute tips and service charges among restaurant staff, based on hours worked and rostered area. The client’s own backend team needed experienced front-end developers to launch in Australia within six months, while the backend architecture was still being finalised.

The challenge

The stack itself was still being decided as the clock was already running.

  • The backend architecture was still in flux when front-end work began

  • The client’s in-house team wanted to stay on a JavaScript stack

  • Front-end and back-end structures had already started to drift apart

  • Augmenting across multiple teams made communication harder to hold together

  • A fixed six-month deadline left little room for false starts

What we did

humaniseAI’s Talent team made one stack decision early and built around it.

  • Assembled a three-person team: two backend-strong engineers and one QA specialist

  • Chose Blazor over JavaScript, unifying front and back end in C# and .NET

  • Used Syncfusion with Blazor to speed up front-end build and integration

  • Built custom bridging code to keep front-end and back-end in sync

  • Integrated Tanda Workforce to migrate existing HR data into onboarding

Results

  1. Delivered On Time: Launched the pilot within the six-month deadline

  2. Streamlined Codebase: One language across front and back end cut development time

  3. Faster, Smoother App: WebAssembly kept load times fast even under load

  4. Fewer Manual Errors: Automated charge distribution replaced error-prone manual splitting

  5. Built to Extend: A modular design left room to grow into new markets

Takeaway

humaniseAI’s Talent team unified a fracturing front-end and back-end into one stack, and still hit the deadline.
