About the client
humaniseAI’s Talent team worked with one of Australia’s leading property portals for off-the- plan developments, listing more than 10,000 apartment and housing projects nationwide alongside market insights and neighbourhood guides. The client wanted a faster, more search-friendly site on modern infrastructure, plus a new login experience and better mobile search, all inside a four-month window.
The challenge
Nearly every layer of the platform needed rework, all at once.
The website still ran on the ageing Drupal 7, limiting performance and security
A React JS front end wasn’t built to take advantage of modern SEO techniques
The mobile app’s search needed new libraries the current React Native version couldn’t support
Login needed a full rebuild to support easier, more personalised access
All of this had to ship inside a four-month window, without breaking the live site
What we did
humaniseAI’s Talent team sequenced the migration to protect the live site throughout.
Migrated the entire website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9, preserving data and content
Rebuilt the front end in Next.js to unlock server-side rendering for SEO
Upgraded React Native so the mobile app could integrate Algolia’s search
Enabled maintenance mode and a force-update prompt to keep the migration clean
Rebuilt the login experience as part of the broader platform upgrade
Results
Higher Search Visibility: Google indexing and organic rankings both improved
Performance Jump: GTmetrix score moved from a C to an A grade
Stronger Analytics: Engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics all improved
Better User Experience: Faster load times and smoother navigation across web and app
More App Downloads: Weekly downloads rose across both the Play Store and App Store
Takeaway
humaniseAI’s Talent team rebuilt the platform’s foundation and its search visibility in the same four-month window, without breaking anything already live.
