About the client

An individual working inside the Australian Government approached humaniseAI’s Talent team wanting to close the communication gap between citizens and their elected representatives. The goal was a platform where citizens could raise issues directly with Members of Parliament, propose solutions, and vote on the ones that mattered most, verified through the Government’s own Digital ID system.

The challenge

The idea was strong, but the requirements kept moving.

  • Citizens had few direct channels to raise issues with their MPs

  • Many citizens felt shut out of how government decisions actually got made

  • The client needed a working MVP before committing to a full build

  • User identity had to be verified before anyone could post

  • Requirements kept shifting as the client’s own vision evolved

What we did

humaniseAI’s Talent team stayed flexible while the brief itself was still forming.

  • Ran an agile process built to absorb changing requirements mid-build

  • Brought in a team spanning architecture, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps

  • Built following, upvoting, commenting, and solution-proposing into the core product

  • Added a ranking system and leaderboard to reward useful contributions

  • Built on a serverless AWS architecture and integrated the Government’s Digital ID

Results

  1. Direct Line to MPs: Citizens could raise issues and proposals straight to their representatives

  2. Democratic Prioritisation: Upvoting surfaced the issues that mattered most to the community

  3. Successful Pilot: A closed-community pilot proved out the platform’s core functionality

  4. Higher Engagement: Following, upvoting, and commenting drove real participation from users

  5. Verified, Trusted Identity: Digital ID integration gave the platform a credible identity layer

Takeaway

humaniseAI’s Talent team turned an individual’s public-good idea into a working, identity-verified MVP ready to test with real citizens.
